How it's made, how thick the metal is and crimping skill of the individual can play a part in his well they stay on. In the long run drilling holes in the fenders for hooks, or using little binder clips are the best.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08236210810344032312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-7810446761748328492011-06-27T11:47:35.307-04:002011-06-27T11:47:35.307-04:00Do you have an update on how reliable these are? Depending on your fenders, you may need to either open them up a little, or squish them shut a bit to fit. The only problem with these is that you end up with a bunch of leftovers, since you only need the hook part. :)Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08236210810344032312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-85939245592812844682010-09-10T11:42:15.649-04:002010-09-10T11:42:15.649-04:00B&S--where can one get the attachment clips yo...B&S--where can one get the attachment clips you are using ? Especially on a mixte frame since there is more frame back there anyway. I rode it around a little and had no problems, but I want to try it out with a fuller skirt. If not then I'm going to add more strands to take up space.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08236210810344032312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-52666394768022245642010-08-31T01:36:36.365-04:002010-08-31T01:36:36.365-04:00This one looks perfect to me! I use them when I'm testing something out, simply b/c they are easy to get on and off. I like to use these clips to hold them on my Hercules. I have put some thought into something that could go over the the mudguard, and have a few ideas that I still need to play around with.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08236210810344032312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-9985071491717081562010-08-30T09:15:16.762-04:002010-08-30T09:15:16.762-04:00Love the simplicity...but agree with a few more di...Love the simplicity...but agree with a few more diamonds.

Mostly however it would be nice to have an attachment solution that does not rely on those rather awful binder clips. It would be preferable to have something that goes over the mudguard, perhaps in black to be more or less invisible? This is my issue with Simeli's otherwise gorgeous skirtguards..those binder clips are not going on any bike of mine!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-33112979788054138262010-08-28T20:36:46.239-04:002010-08-28T20:36:46.239-04:00I love this!
