I'd gladly offer to pay or barter! I really like the pattern for instance on the BikeCap website thats white with a blue baroque swirly pattern.bikeWPBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02606163367700978867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-46113467272675521292011-06-16T11:05:24.106-04:002011-06-16T11:05:24.106-04:00Those are LOVELY.

It would finally solve one of our bike storage problems. I spent last night dreaming what kind of pattern fabric to use... Thanks for the inspiration.

I used to sew with plastic when I was at art school, and I seem to remember maybe waxing the needle rather than oiling it. Beeswax or candlewax, or whatever you have around.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-86203171974902709162011-05-18T18:37:48.779-04:002011-05-18T18:37:48.779-04:00Cute! I like that it adds a nice stylish touch as well.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12235831374184428641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-58083348502419982742011-05-15T16:28:56.292-04:002011-05-15T16:28:56.292-04:00This is all kinds of fabulous. I have never sewed with that kind of material before, so I imagine it would be tricky.Karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12232157346482774504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-54260845983054744122011-05-15T10:20:39.154-04:002011-05-15T10:20:39.154-04:00Melissa - I say go for it. That seemed to be heavy duty enough, the only problem was that when the needle would go through the fabric, it would momentarily get stuck to the PVC while it was in it. Maybe some powder or oil on the needle would help with this? Not sure but I might try that next time.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08236210810344032312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2748944590443977695.post-8802240260209666112011-05-15T00:24:38.037-04:002011-05-15T00:24:38.037-04:00They turned out great!
